Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Preston area who are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with their pupils. The School is based in the Preston area, Lancashire and caters specifically for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and experienced Support Assistant to work with pupils who can display difficult behaviours.
The School is smaller than average; it currently caters for around 45 pupils, all male and candidates must be comfortable supporting pupils across KS3/4 who may display difficult behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working candidate who is seeking a long term role in a forward thinking behavioural unit.
The candidate must be willing to provide support in a range of subjects, help the teacher manage the behaviour in class and work closely with other Support Assistants in School.
The position will be full time, starting as soon as possible and candidates will be expected to stay for de-brief at the end of each day.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
