Job description

We are currently seeking behaviour support workers/ mentors to support primary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. This role is extremely rewarding and provides an exciting challenge for a teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career.

This role is based in Bournemouth and is easy to reach via public transport links.

You do not need school support experience previously however you will need to:

  • Have a passion for supporting hard to reach pupils
  • Be creative and have an interest in vocational subjects such as sports, childcare or arts.
  • Have some experience in a childcare setting

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
