Behaviour Support Assistant - Salford

Do you have experience providing additional support to young people with challenging behaviour? Are you looking for a new Behaviour Support role?

Teaching Personnel are supporting a Secondary School in Salford to recruit a permanent Behaviour Support Assistant from January 2020.

• Full-time permanent Behaviour Support Assistant role available from January 2020.
• Supporting students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Providing additional support inside and outside the classroom for pupils who have behavioural difficulties
• Earn up to £350 per week, depending on experience
• Any experience with behavioural difficulties is desirable

Working as a Behaviour Support Assistant in our partner school, responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students who require additional support due to their behavioural difficulties
• Assessing and evaluating students' progress and reporting back to Senior Teachers
• Providing support across a range of subjects inside and outside the classroom
• Encouraging students to achieve their full potential
• Planning and delivering interventions suitable to students at varying levels of learning ability
• Cooperating with senior staff as well as a large group of teachers/teaching assistants

Our partner school has advised candidates should have previous experience of a role with similar responsibilities including providing additional support for pupils across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

The above Secondary school is located between Salford and Bolton and is easily accessible from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester via the M60 and A580. For candidates who do not drive, the school is accessible via several forms of public transportation from areas such as Bury, central Manchester and Bolton.
