Behaviour Specialist Teacher Required

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a fully qualified teacher with a passion for education to work with a pupil referral unit in Torfaen. The school caters for students with Social Emotional Mental Health and other complex needs. It is a small school with pupils who have been excluded from mainstream school. Students needs include Autism, ADHD and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • -Experience of teaching either primary or secondary age
  • -Excellent behaviour management skills
  • - Team Teach training (desirable)
  • -A nurturing approach
  • -Autism Awareness Training (desirable)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
