Behaviour SEN Teaching Assistant role in Walthamstow

SEN School in Walthamstow looking for Teaching Assistant experienced in working with Behaviour pupils

SEN TA required for an SEN school in the Walthamstow area to work with Behaviour pupils

The school are looking for pupils who are committed to work with pupils with complex and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidates will have a positive outlook and will look to support and encourage pupils to reach their potential. Safeguarding trained would be ideal for this role.

Candidates looking to apply for this role must:

  • Be willing to work long term and full time Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:00pm
  • Have an updated child workforce DBS and that is registered on the update service
  • Deliver 1:1 behaviour mentoring
  • Work closely with Teachers managing classroom disruptions

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
