Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based School who are seeking a Support Assistant to provide behaviour support for their pupils. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils who are no longer in mainstream education. The School caters specifically for pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Anxiety and other mental health difficulties. The School is based on the outskirts of Preston and candidates must be available full time in order to apply.
The role will be full time, School hours are roughly 8.30am - 3.10pm Monday - Thursday with a 2.30pm on a Friday. The role would be suited to a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and experienced Support Assistant who has a passion for supporting pupils who are disengaged and/or display challenging behaviours.
The candidate must be seeking a long term, full time role with the potential to become permanent. The candidate must be considerate when working with pupils with additional needs and candidates are expected to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 70 per day
- Long term position available
- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEN
