The successful Behaviour Mentor will have a minimum of a 2:2 degree and an excellent track-record of supporting pupils on an ILP in any capacity is essential. Any enhanced training or knowledge of specific behavioural/language therapies will be extremely advantageous.

What is a Behaviour Mentor?

Behaviour Mentors are required to provide guidance to class teachers and school-wide on a 1:1 basis with key individuals who are experience behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

The Behaviour Mentor role:

• Implement ILP's for pupils and will work in stimulating environments to maximise learning potential.
• Provide targeted support to pupils with challenging behaviour
• Work school-wide when required.
