Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor for a role in one of our partner schools in Accrington, East Lancashire.
The school is smaller than average and caters for pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education. The school caters for KS2 / 3 / 4 pupils with additional needs including Autism, ADHD, ODD, SEMH Difficulties and Learning Difficulties. The school are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who often display more challenging behaviours than other pupils in the class.
The role is full time and school hours are 8.45am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday and the role will start in January 2021.
The candidate must be experienced in working with pupils who have additional needs, be calm, patient, resilient and have strong behaviour management skills. Candidates with their Team Teach qualification will be preferred, although this is not essential.
The pay for this role will be between GBP65 - 75 per day.
