Job description

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is confident working with children who can present emotional and behavioural challenges to support in a mainstream Primary School in Doncaster.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm and friendly manner, with a robust, professional, yet sensitive attitude.

Experience supporting in key areas such as numeracy, literacy, and a general understanding of current KS1 and KS2 curriculum would make you the Teaching Assistant we are looking for.

It is vital that you have a calm and empathetic nature with the ability to relate to children that may demonstrate challenging behaviours.

A sports background would be beneficial but is not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
