Behaviour Mentor

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC Secondary school in the Moston region of North Manchester. With recent developments and the incorporation of an on site Alternative Provision, the school wish to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to work with identified students this academic year.

Both graduates and experienced Youth Work professionals are urged to apply for this position.

• Full time Behaviour Mentor post, immediate start
• Working within the on site Alternative Provision, supported by Inclusion Manager
• Provide support to pupils who display challenging behaviours
• Gain invaluable experience to further career working with Children and Young People

"We have an urgent requirement for a Behaviour Mentor to join our support team with immediate effect. This position will incorporate working directly with the SENCO and Inclusion Manager to manage behaviour effectively, both within the Alternative Provision and in mainstream lessons. It is essential that the successful Behaviour Mentor has previous experience working with vulnerable young people, and can pro-actively implement behaviour policies."

Our partner Secondary school is oversubscribed with over 1,300 pupils on roll at present. A key principle that the school follow in linked to creating an inclusive environment for all learners, and giving each pupil the tools required to succeed.
