Behaviour Mentor
This is a full-time position providing general support across KS1 and KS2 and carrying out interventions with pupils who have challenging behaviour. You will work in small groups and also be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
You need to be able to show confidence in dealing with pupils who show the behaviour below:
- Not completing class activities set by the Teacher
- Throwing learning equipment around the classroom
- Leaving the classroom without being dismissed
- Pushing to the front of the queue
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children or young people
- At least a years experience supporting challenging behaviour in a classroom based environment
- Good role model with good command of the English Language
- Youth work experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
