Rate of Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to scale)

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-respected, inclusive secondary school in Havering. The school is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team in September 2025.

The school is part of a growing and supportive multi-academy trust, known for its commitment to professional development, academic excellence, and staff wellbeing. You’ll be joining a high-performing Maths department with a reputation for strong GCSE results and a collaborative team environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities depending on experience)

  • Promote a positive classroom culture that supports the progress of all learners

  • Track and assess student achievement, adapting your teaching to meet individual needs

  • Contribute to department planning, enrichment activities, and wider school initiatives

  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards in teaching and learning

All applicants must have QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications suitable for the UK.
Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. While the position is permanent, alternative arrangements may be considered for the right applicant.
