Teaching Personnel is pleased to be supporting a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Southend, Essex, as they seek to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher for a September 2025 start.

This ambitious school is part of a forward-thinking multi-academy trust that places a strong emphasis on student achievement, staff wellbeing, and professional growth. You’ll be joining a dynamic Maths department that values collaboration, consistency, and high standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and purposeful Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (opportunities for KS5 depending on experience)

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages mathematical thinking

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Contribute to curriculum planning, intervention programmes, and departmental initiatives

  • Work as part of a cohesive team to drive achievement and support school priorities

Pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. While the role is offered as permanent, flexibility may be considered.
