1:1 Behaviour Specialists

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking for a 1:1 behaviour support mentor to work with pupils need additional support.

The roles are working closely with the pupil to support their education, SEMH and social skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with children and young people with additional needs and/or challenging behaviours.

The roles are working both on and off site to support the pupil in different learning based activities. This does require the candidate to be able to drive with access to their own vehicle.

The desired candidate will have relevant experiences and qualifications to support their application. The ideal candidate will have GCSE's A-C or equivalent. Having additional qualifications such as: Team teach, MAPA, behaviour support, BTEC, sporting qualifications or any others relevant to working with children will strengthen your application.

A DBS is needed in child workforce only. As part of our vetting requirements your DBS needs to be on the Update Service. If you do not have either of these then do not hesitate to contact us as we can help you to go through the application process. However if you do have a DBS in child work force on the update service then your documents can be cleared faster.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
