Behaviour Buddy

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a behaviour mentor to work within one of our secondary SEN schools in the High Wycombe area. The students have SEMH, ASC and additional needs.

All the students have a routine and an understanding as to how the daily structure works so this makes it a very controlled environment to work in.

The students are all supported 1:1 and 2:1, you will be supported by senior members of staff as well as other support assistants. You will build a trusting relationship with your students and you will learn to tailor your approach and learning structure to each individual student.

The school have days out in the community and the students very much enjoy their time to socialise in the community.

Teaching Personnel will be able to give you Team Teach training in order to work within this particular school.

If you have:

  • Any training relating to prevention and behaviour management such as Team Teach this would be beneficial- however this training can be given
  • If you have any experience with working within SEN settings this would be beneficial
  • Any school based experience
  • Would like to 'give a little back' to the community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
