SEN Teaching Assistant – Bank Staff (Primary & Secondary)

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs?
We are looking for dedicated and flexible SEN Teaching Assistants to join our bank staff team, working across Primary and Secondary SEN schools in Preston.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)

  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
