Learning Support Assistant (SEN) – Agency Bank Staff
We are seeking dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our agency team, providing flexible support across a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools. This position is ideal for individuals looking for meaningful, hands-on work that makes a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
As an LSA, you will work alongside teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to progress academically, socially, and emotionally. Support may be provided on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, depending on each student’s individual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

Assist in classroom activities, adapting materials and strategies to meet individual learning needs

Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion across the school

Provide personal care or physical support when required

Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to deliver consistent, personalised support
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (experience in school, care, or youth settings welcomed)

A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
