Job description

Are you someone with experience in special needs education? Looking for a new challenge amongst a diverse team? An extremely well established school in Sydenham are currently seeking a dynamic and confident teaching assistant to support students with complex needs with the majority on the autistic spectrum.

Experience working in a classroom with ASD students would be preferred. However, more importantly the school are looking for someone who understands the needs of the pupil and is comfortable working and supporting students with ASD.
This role will be long-term and will commence after an interview process with school.
Your main duties will be:
*Support students with their work
*Manage students behaviour
*Supervising classroom activities
*Report back to teachers about students work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
