Autism /SLD teaching assistants required in South Woodford ASAP

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking 1:1 & group support staff for a Special school in South Woodford for primary/ secondary aged pupils with Autism, behavioural difficulties, severe learning disabilities and medical complex needs. The roles will vary from an immediate start one term contract post in the first instance with the potential to become permanent or daily ad hoc work.

We are looking for TAs in the following posts:

  • Specialists on Behaviour/SEMH
  • Specialists working 1:1 with highly Autistic students (PECs)
  • Behaviour Mentors/PRU / Team Teach trained
  • PMLD/Manual Handling/ Intimate Care
  • Graduates keen to work with Special Needs students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
