ASC Teaching Assistant Positions, Long Term, Immediate Start

I am currently looking for two Learning Support Assistants for long term positions to start ASAP in an outstanding catholic primary school in Liverpool .

About the School

In this school (Liverpool), pupils love coming to school because it is a very happy place and they feel very safe there. Attendance levels are high and behaviour is exceptionally well-managed so that no learning time is lost. Children who arrive at the Early Years Foundation Stage get off to an excellent start. Joint work between classroom staff and the school's speech and language therapist help children begin to communicate their needs and wishes. Please see below further information on these two positions. Every member of staff in this school is totally committed to enabling each and every pupil to be the best they possibly can be.

Position 1

  • Reception / EYFS Learning Support Assistant
  • Maternity Cover
  • Very low ability
  • Pupils with ASC
  • Sensory work

Position 2

  • KS1 Learning Support Assistant
  • Long term position
  • Working to Early Years (EYFS) level
  • Non-verbal students
  • Pupils with ASC
  • Sensory work

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
