A Large Secondary School in Derbyshire are seeking a bright and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their KS3/4 team immediately.

The role: The school is looking to appoint a strong SEND Learning Support Assistant with previous experience in a similar role to work with small groups of SEN students within an Autism Resource Centre (ARC) and within the mainstream provisions. The role is for immediate cover and will be long term for the remainder of the academic year.

The school: Rated 'Good' by OFSTED in 2015, they have a long track record of producing some excellent results across all subject areas. With highly effective senior leadership all staff are supported and encouraged to become involved in the wider school community.

To be eligible

  • Have some experience working in secondary or SEN schools
  • Have level 2 or GCSE Maths English and Science
  • Ideally have some formal training or a degree
