The Role

As Attendance Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate attendance records are maintained and that pupils receive the support they need to attend school regularly.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and recording daily attendance
• Managing late arrivals and absence reporting
• Following up unexplained absences with parents and carers
• Producing attendance reports and data for leadership teams
• Supporting safeguarding procedures related to attendance
• Maintaining accurate pupil records
• Working closely with parents, staff and external agencies
• Providing general administrative support within the school office

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

• Previous school administration experience
• Attendance administration experience within a school setting
• Knowledge of school MIS systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills when dealing with parents and staff
• A professional and friendly approach
• The ability to manage sensitive information confidentially
• A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
