We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Intervention Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils requiring targeted academic support, helping to raise attainment, boost confidence and accelerate progress.

The Role

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions in Literacy and/or Numeracy.
• Support pupils who require additional academic assistance to reach age-related expectations.
• Work with small groups and individual pupils across Key Stages.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting intervention strategies where necessary.
• Collaborate with class teachers and senior leaders to identify learning needs.
• Build pupils' confidence, resilience and engagement in learning.
• Support preparation for assessments and key transition points.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience delivering interventions within a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of pupil progress and assessment.
• Ability to identify learning gaps and implement effective support strategies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, adaptable and committed to achieving positive outcomes for every child.
• Experience supporting SEND and disadvantaged pupils would be advantageous.
