Job description

SEN teaching assistant required to support pupils with Autism

  • Specific training offered when necessary
  • Keen to work with young people who have a diagnosis of Autism
  • Regular work within your area

Teaching Personnel work closely with a "super" school within the Oxfordshire area that caters students aged 3-19 who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs. Within this school the children & young people are able to access fantastic facilities including indoor swimming pool, sensory rooms, physiotherapists and speech language therapists.You must be able to use your own initiative and willing to get "stuck in" on occasions - some of these children & young people can display challenging behavior you must be able to assist the school staff in defusing & de-escalating any situation as they arise.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
