SEN Teaching Assistant

A primary SEN school in Bolton are hoping to recruit a teaching assistant who is able to support the needs of children with special educational needs in their KS1 classes.
You will work with children aged 5-7 who have a wide range of learning difficulties, including ASC, SLD and MLD.
The ideal person will hold a level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification or have solid experience of working in a classroom setting.
In addition, you MUST have experience of working with children who have special educational needs. Excellent behaviour management skills is a must as is the ability to work as part of a team. Additional qualifications such as Team-Teach and Autism Awareness are highly desirable.
