Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an experienced TA to work in an Autism (ASC) setting within the Sheffield area, South Yorkshire. We are currently working with SEN specialist Schools, Pupil referral Units and Dedicated Service Provisions and would like people who have ideally some experience or an interest in working with pupils with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC/ ASD), Behavior Emotional Social Disorder (BESD/ EBD) or Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support children with Autism Spectrum Condition, enhance attainment and provide encouragement to these pupils. The ideal candidate thrives on the challenge of a varied and demanding role. We are looking for TA’s who have a have a sincere passion from seeing results and are willing to work hard to ensure the developmental success of all pupils.
Essential skills for this role are; a non-judgemental attitude, the ability to keep pupils calm, good Literacy and Numeracy skills. Experience of working within a similar environment and a Team Teach qualification are desirable but not essential. Teaching Personnel can also offer a variety of work from emergency (daily supply) to long term full time work.
