  • Full time role with potential to go onto school contract.
  • £50-£60 a day

1:1 support for Autistic pupil

We are working alongside a "Good" Bury primary school to find a teaching assistant to support an Autistic (ASC) pupil in Reception. The Bury school have received confirmation of an Educational Healthcare Plan for the pupil. The pupil in question is a lovely boy. He has high functioning Autism. He struggles with socialising and integrating with his class. He needs extra 1:1 support in the classroom, personal care and help integrating with other pupils.

The school are looking for a teaching assistant with experience of working with Autism (ASC), ideally with young children.

The School is based in Bury, BL9 and is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the town centre and surrounding areas. The primary school does have a higher than average number of pupils who come into the school with SEN. The headteacher is keen to ensure all pupils who require extra support get the sufficient help they need to succeed at school.

• Full time role supporting a pupil with Autism (ASC) starting June with the possibility of going onto the school’s contract next academic year through teaching Personnel’s ‘Temp to Perm’.

• Competitive rate of pay of £50-£60 a day.

The Bury school would like to see suitable candidates on a trial day basis week commencing 12th June.
