A fantastic school in Croydon are currently looking for a LSA, with experience supporting ASC learners. The ideal candidate should have experience using the ABA method, Makaton and PECS or have knowledge of successful strategies to engage ASC learners. This fantastic school has a friendly and supportive team of staff with inclusion at the forefront of all they do. They have a strong leadership team who have implemented a diverse curriculum and extra curriculum activities. The school need an individual confident to work independently, while also being able to work with the class teacher and under the leadership of the Inclusion Manager. You will be supporting a young Reception aged learner, with little to no communication skills, who can at times, express their frustrations in a physical way. You will be expected to use your previous ASC experience to support the learner in raising their development and communication.
