Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school that are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to start in school in 2017. The school is an average sized Primary school based in South Liverpool where a couple of new children are starting in September. The 2 children are on the autistic spectrum and the school believe that someone to support them in the classroom would benefit their transition into the school.
It was graded ‘Good’ in its last Ofsted report The Headteacher has created a culture where pupils can work in a calm and purposeful environment and achieve well. Parents, pupils and teachers appreciate the difference she has made to the school in improving the quality of teaching and raising standards.
The early years is extremely well led by the Deputy Headteacher. As a result the education for the youngest children is outstanding. The progress of disadvantaged pupils, disabled pupils and those with special educational needs is outstanding.
The Early Years is 2 form entry and is attached to the school nursery where both Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 learn together in an open unit. The Early Years department is well staffed and you will be supported throughout the placement by the class teachers and 2 HLTAs in the EYFS unit.
