A Secondary Special Needs school in the Gosport area are looking for an Art and Design teacher to start in September 2017.
Our partner school situated in the Gosport area has a great reputation and a very good ofsted report. The position for an Art and Design teacher will be temporary in the first instance, working across KS3 and KS4, with the potential of a permanent post for the right person. The post is full time starting from September 2017.
The Headteacher is looking for an Art and Design teacher who has experience teaching in a special needs school or a similar specialist SEN setting.
There is a wide range of ability amongst the children, so you will need to be able to differentiate and adapt lessons accordingly.
Due to the specific needs of the pupils in this school, you must -
* Teach English as your specialist subject
* Have QTS and experience teaching individuals with special educational needs
* Have solid experience of working within a specialist school
The school would like a teacher who can contribute to the continuing success of the school.
