Administrative Support Staff needed for CofE Primary in Newham

Job description

One of our partner schools has recently approached us to recruit a member of their administrative support staff team during the Easter holidays to start in April. If you are interested in working in a friendly Church of England Primary school and have excellent administrative skill please read on!

The successful candidate will become part of a team of dedicated and supportive staff providing a mixture of general office administration and reception duties. A flexible approach to work is as such a key requirement, as is a friendly personality. You will need to be comfortable working with visitors, pupils, staff and other stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with pupils, staff and external stakeholders
  • Experience of running effective reception support, ideally within a school environment
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively and flexibly in a busy work environment
  • A positive attitude
  • Strong computing abilities, including proficiency with a range of Microsoft Office applications

The following traits are also desirable:

  • Trained First Aider, willing to take on responsibilities for First Aid within the school
  • Experience of using SIMS
  • Experience of working in a school based setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
