Strong Teaching Assistant wanted in Neath Primary

We are currently recruiting a strong Teaching Assistant to support a young boy of primary age with severe challenging behaviour.

Our client, based in Neath, is looking for someone on a full-time, long-term basis to support the pupil on a one to one basis and sometimes with him in a small group. You will also be expected to undertake some classroom based responsibilities.

The ideal person will need to have an recent experience working with severe challenging behaviour and Team Teach would be beneficial, although not essential as Teaching Personnel offer CPD experience days and training.

You must have experience with Primary aged pupils or have supported young people from vulnerable and challenging backgrounds.

The successful candidates will need to know how to deal with difficult situations, remain calm under pressure and would be able to build a good rapport with pupils as the school needs someone on a long term basis.
