- Working with pupils with ADHD or Emotional and Behavioral difficulties
- Full-time, part-time and temporary hours.
- No experience necessary, training available.
Teaching Personnel's secondary branch in Dorset are currently seeking teaching assistants in Bournemouth that can work 1-1 with pupils who have ADHD and/or emotional and behavioral difficulties.
We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and there is a variety of work, in a variety of schools, available. Typically, hours are from 8:45 until 3:30pm every day and we can be flexible with the hours offered. You would be fully supported by the school and other adults would always be present if you are starting out without experience.
Teaching Personnel provide training for working with pupils with challenging behavior, so if you don't have any experience working in this field, please feel free to enquire about this training on application.
The ideal candidate would be A-Level or degree educated with experience working with children. We would also love to hear from you if you have a background in coaching, care work or in the forces. However, this experience isn't essential. If you are interested in a career working with children and would like to gain further experience, please send your CV to James.Marsh@teachingpersonnel.com, who will arrange a registration in branch and a discussion about finding you work.
