SEN Learning Support Assistant - Southmead

A fantastic primary school based in Southmead are looking to appoint an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to start in September. The position will involve working alongside a dedicated team of teaching staff to support the learning of a pupil with Special Education Needs. The role will involve working in partnership with parents and outside agencies to deliver an outstanding KS2 education.

Desired attributes of successful candidate:

• Individual that is caring and confident that approaches situations with enthusiasm and diplomacy

• The ability to effectively work as a part of team as well as independently

• Possess the ability to use creativity and initiative to improve learning and manage behaviour

• Experience of working with pupils with SEN statements

• Ability to keep accurate records of pupil progress to assist with monitoring performance

• Flexible individual with a committed approach to supporting learning
