Job description

We are currently searching for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant who specialises in supporting those with Emotional, Social and Behavioural Difficulties and Severe Learning difficulties for a lovely SEN School in Bournemouth.

You will need:

- Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant

- A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team

- Knowledge and experience of EBD and challenging behaviour.

- The ability to motivate young people with SEMH difficulties

The position will initially be based on 4 days a week, with the potential for this increase and can lead to further opportunities working with young people.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
