Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Full Time (8:30am-3:30pm)

Pay: £57-70

Are you seeking a rewarding role where you can aide the learning of a KS1 pupil?

Do you have experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour?

We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support a KS1 pupil in a school based in Hartcliffe. The position will be on a full time basis and has arisen due to a current member of staff going on maternity leave.

The school is one form entry and has a team of committed staff who will fully support you in the role. Along with great transport links from the City Centre, there is also plenty of parking opportunities available in and around the school.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting a KS1 pupil academically and emotionally
  • Liaising with colleagues, parents/guardians and external agencies to ensure pupil progress is being made and all parties are fully informed
  • Conducting daily/weekly intervention sessions
  • Improving behaviour leading to the pupil spending more time within the classroom
