Are you a current youth worker looking for a new role to support in a secondary school? Do you have experience of working with youths or adolescents?

Our client secondary schools in the Birchwood and Padgate area are looking for youth workers with relevant experience to support within their school setting. The successful youth worker will be supporting students within a classroom setting or in small groups, assisting them with any needs they may have. This may include academic needs supporting with specific work or working with them on a behavioural level. Experience as a Youth Worker is not a minimum requirement but experience in supporting young people with challenging behaviour is highly desirable.

This role would suit any of the following:

  • Youth worker working with individuals aged 11 - 18 in any leisure/educational setting
  • Sports coach looking to support within a secondary school environment; able to act as a role model to younger people
  • Future teacher looking to pursue a career in the education sector, gaining further experience of supporting students
  • Graduate with relevant secondary school experience, assisting as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor
  • Graduate who has previously tutored or mentored younger students

Our client secondary schools in the area of Birchwood, Warrington are looking for successful youth workers that are motivated and passionate about supporting pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. There may be elements of behaviour support, supporting various special educational needs and assisting students within the classroom and supporting the class teacher. There will therefore be the opportunity to network within an assigned secondary school and work alongside a team of professional teachers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
