Are you a current youth worker looking for a new role supporting at a secondary school in the Warrington area?
Do you have experience of working with young people in a youth work setting supporting them as required?
A co-educational secondary school located in the Warrington area is looking for an experienced youth worker with relevant experience to support within a secondary school setting. The successful youth worker will be supporting students in small groups, assisting them with any needs they may have. There will be an element of behaviour support as part of this role working with identified students who are disengaged with school life so any experience of working with students building relationships will be key.
Highlights of this youth worker support role:
- Pay ranging between GBP1140 - GBP1300 per month depending upon experience
- Opportunity to support an identified cohort of students who are disengaged with students
- Support a teacher training application gaining relevant experience within a secondary school
- Highly rewarding role working within a supportive environment at a well known, reputable secondary school
This particular school is very set on recruiting a confident and motivated youth worker who is passionate about supporting young people between the ages of 11 and 16. There will be elements of behaviour support as part of this role, supporting students who may have additional needs and problems at home. As part of this role, there will be the opportunity to network within an assigned secondary school and work alongside a team of professional teachers.
This role would suit a:
- Youth worker who has experience of working with young people aged 11 – 16 in any setting
- Sports coach who has experience of working with disengaged students
- Prospective future teacher looking to pursue a career in the education sector, gaining further experience of supporting students
- Graduate with relevant secondary school experience, assisting as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor
This school is situated on the north side of the Warrington area, making it very easy to access from Wigan, Leigh and St Helens as well as of course Warrington.
