Teaching Personnel is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a friendly and inclusive primary school in Rusholme, which is seeking a motivated and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils through a key stage of their educational journey as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
- Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage assessments while maintaining a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to succeed
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maximise pupil outcomes
- Participate in school initiatives, meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with Year 6 experience highly desirable
- Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment expectations
- Be able to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be confident in using technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Show a genuine passion for inspiring and supporting pupils to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
