Location: Stretford
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm

The Role
As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners while maintaining high expectations for attainment and behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can succeed
- Support pupils in preparing for SATs and their transition to secondary school
- Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to school improvement
- Maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community
- Take part in professional development opportunities and school events
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be confident in differentiating lessons to meet varying learning needs
- Have a secure understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
- Possess excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
- Be committed to supporting every child to achieve their full potential
