Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wythenshawe that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a Year 6 class during a crucial stage of their educational journey, helping pupils achieve their academic potential while preparing them for a successful transition to secondary school.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Support pupils in preparing for SATs through targeted and inspiring teaching
  • Assess and monitor progress to ensure all children achieve strong outcomes
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Foster pupils' confidence, independence, and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support pupil success

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

✅ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✅ Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6

✅ Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

✅ Have a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements

✅ Be able to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils

✅ Be a positive, motivated, and reflective practitioner
