Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wythenshawe that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team from October 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a Year 6 class during a key stage of their educational journey, helping pupils achieve strong academic outcomes while preparing them for a smooth and successful transition to secondary school.

The Role

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Support pupils in preparing for SATs through targeted, effective, and inspiring teaching
• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes for all learners
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and personal development
• Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to maximise pupil achievement and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Possess a secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements
• Be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
• Be a positive, proactive, and reflective practitioner committed to high standards
