Year 5 Class Teacher | Full-Time | Stretford | September 2026 Start

Teaching Personnel is excited to be supporting a welcoming and ambitious primary school in Stretford, seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher to become part of a supportive school community that values collaboration, creativity, and high-quality teaching. You will play a key role in guiding pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education, helping them build the confidence and skills needed for a successful transition into Year 6.

The Role

As a Year 5 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons while fostering a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
  • Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
  • Developing positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Working collaboratively with staff to share best practice and drive school improvement
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments and their transition into Year 6

✅ The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

✔ Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

✔ Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience advantageous)

✔ Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

✔ Can adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners

✔ Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements

✔ Is confident using technology to enhance learning and engagement

✔ Possesses excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills

✔ Is passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential
