Do you have Youth Work experience and wanting to work in a Manchester Secondary school?
Teaching Personnel have been approached by a secondary school in the Stockport area of Manchester, in order to recruit a Youth Worker. This Youth Work vacancy is for a full time, on going position, starting after October half term. There is an opportunity for a school based contract for the successful Youth Worker, following an introduction from Teaching Personnel. The Manchester secondary school are seeking a Youth Worker who will be able to engage with their pupils across the year groups, and has a experience working with young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The secondary school is located in the Stockport area of Manchester, and is easily accessible for drivers, a 15 minute drive from Manchester ring road. The school is also accessible by public transport, with direct links from Manchester city centre. The school has a large and dedicated pastoral team, which the successful Youth Worker will be part of. The successful Youth Workers line manager will be the school SENCO, who is highly experienced and dedicated to the role. The catchment area of the school means that the some of the cohort of pupils are from a lower socio-economic background. The successful Youth Worker will be able to build rapport with pupils across the school facing a number of challenges, both in their personal life as well as their school life.
