We are recruiting a Youth Support Worker for a well-established secondary school in Newport. This is an ideal role for anyone passionate about helping young people — whether you have professional experience or have supported children informally through family, volunteering, or community work.

The Role – Youth Support Worker (Newport Secondary School)
In this role, you will:
- Support students within a secondary school environment
- Help young people overcome learning and behavioural barriers
- Build positive, trusted relationships with pupils
- Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and SEN teams
- Promote confidence, resilience, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
Candidates from retail, care, hospitality, customer service, youth work, sports coaching, or any role involving people skills are encouraged to apply — your transferable skills are highly valued.
