Are you looking for a challenging role which involves managing challenging behaviours on a daily basis?
One of our partner clients is a pupil referral unit based in Warrington and they are seeking to employ graduates with a degree associated with youth and community work. The Warrington PRU caters for young people who have been excluded from mainstream education as a result of not being able to cope in mainstream education. The overall goal of the PRU is to manage and address the difficulties which lead to the exclusion in an effort to transition the young people back into mainstream education.
They are now seeking to employ a number of youth and community studies graduates to work on a short and long term basis within the unit as teaching assistants.
The role of a teaching assistant at this Warrington PRU will allow the youth and community graduate to build positive relationships with young people. They will also have to handle difficult scenarios in a way which enables the young people to progress and remain engaged in the respective lesson.
The ideal teaching assistant for this Warrington PRU will have a degree relating to youth and community work. Having a background of putting your degree into practice is also essential for this Bury unit. You must also have a confident personality and will not be fazed by behaviours which could be described as challenging.
The pay rate for this role will be £9-£11 per hour dependent upon experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
