Are you a capable graduate with a 2:1 or above looking to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant?
Our school are looking for someone who is an ambitious and ideally has some experience working with children. It is essential that you possess a real passion to work in education and want to make a difference in children’s lives.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support children in Year 4. Your duties will consist of assisting the teacher with organisation, planning and preparation of lessons. You will also be required to have strong curriculum knowledge, ideally with some experience of working with children as your duties will include helping pupils of all abilities.
The school is based in central Harrogate and has been graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The leadership team have a proven track record of supporting graduates in Teaching Assistant roles with their career, with many successfully gaining places on PGCE courses the following year.
We work with a range of supportive schools in the Harrogate area who provide additional training and support for enthusiastic graduates.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, all applicants will need an Enhanced DBS via the Disclosure Barring Service - Full assistance can be provided.
