Overview of the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a one-form entry Primary School on the outskirts of Darwen who are looking for a Y6 teacher to cover maternity from February half-term until Summer at least. The school had previously offered this role to a teacher who has now been offered a permanent post therefore they urgently need an experienced practitioner to take on the challenge.
Behaviour has been graded as Good and Effectiveness of Leadership and Management has also been graded as Good during a recent Ofsted inspection. From working with the Head teacher for a while I can honestly say I feel this school would be a welcoming and friendly environment for a new team member.
Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of schools across the Blackburn with Darwen area, I personally work with Primary Schools across Blackburn, Darwen, Lower Darwen, Rishton and Great Harwood. We are able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Teachers that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.
If you are a Primary trained teacher with experience teaching with a KS2 department, please do not hesitate to contact the Teaching Personnel team. If you take a look at the feedback we have recently taken on GOOGLE REVIEWS we come highly recommended! With four consultants working across Lancashire, the Preston Primary team have enough man power to source a post for you in your local area. Please see below just a handful of statements from our staff.
"I have been with Teaching Personnel Preston for some years now - having previously tried other agencies. They have been outstanding - in my view this is the best agency. Their friendly support has been consistently impressive - with regular contact to see how I am doing." John.
"I have experience as a head and as a supply teacher using this company. They are so friendly and go out of their way to match your needs with the right people." Christopher.
"They all go above and beyond to find work suited to your individual needs and I can't recommend them enough." Victoria.
