Year 5 Teachers - Oldham
School and Role Details:
A Primary School based in Oldham are looking for a Primary Teacher (KS2) to teach their year 5 class. The school caters for students aged 5-11 and has recently been graded good by Ofsted. The school prides itself on its Sports and Performing Arts, offering the children a wide range of soirees and shows to take part in.
School and Role Details:
The school allows teachers to offer creative and explorative elements to their lessons and teaching practices. You will be welcomed to a warm and friendly, purposeful school, where everybody matters and everybody cares. The school strives to make sure that every individual feels happy, secure and valued. Most importantly children are at the heart of all they do and the school prides itself on the level of academic preparation of its pupils for their senior schools. The ideal candidate will have the appropriate teaching qualifications and also experience/desire to teach KS2 with particular experience with years 5. The role will vary day to day and the school are looking for someone who can make a real difference in the children's lives, someone who is robust while also of a caring nature.
Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification
- Relevant KS2 teaching experience
- High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
- The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
