- Long term opportunity working part time (AMs only)
- Recent Y4 experience is a necessity- Level 2 Qualification or above
- Work in a general role supporting small groups and individual children
The Role:
The role is to start after the October half term holidays on a part-time basis working from 845-1230. The successful candidate will be expected to provide quality support in line with the KS2 Curriculum framework, specifically targeting Maths, Reading and Writing skills. The position does have the longevity to continue until Easter 2017 and this is an excellent opportunity to make an impression amongst Senior Leaders in school who have contacts across the Liverpool areas.
The School:
The school is one of the top performing Primary Schools within the Liverpool area, seeing children arrive in school who are working below expected levels and then by the time they leave are in line if not ahead of target. The school is located 1.5 miles outside the town centre and tends to have a mixed catchment area, with children arriving from Indian and Pakistani backgrounds as well as a number of children from white British backgrounds.
The Head teacher:
The Head teacher is an established figure in school and has a vision to push the school from Ofsted GOOD to OUTSTANDING within the next year or so. She is keen to implement a strong community spirit amongst staff and parents as well maintaining high standards for behaviour as well as academic development. She has informed the agency that she is looking for a ‘committed and experienced practitioner who is keen to come into school and impact on the children’s learning’
