Year 4 Teacher

Kingsway

September position

The governors of a brilliant school in the Kingswood area of Bristol are seeking a Year 4 Teacher to work in the Kingswood area of Bristol. As a Year 4 Teacher in this school you will be dedicated to boosting the learning achievements in the class and offering pastoral care and support in order to help develop the children socially and emotionally as well as academically.

This year 4 Teaching position is in an Ofsted rated ‘good’ school in the Kingswood area of Bristol, the school has a fantastic ethos with a strong focus on pupil and staff well being. You will be well supported in this position and the school will be offering continuous development opportunities in order to progress in your teaching career.

Qualifications -

  • Previous experience with Key Stage 2 pupils or pre entry work experience with children of a relevant age group
  • Enhanced – up to date DBS (Teaching Personnel are happy to offer guidance with this if necessary)
  • QTS

 

The Role:

  • As a Year 4 Teacher in this school you will be responsible for pupil attainment and learning within a class of 30 pupils.
  • You will be a role model with proven efforts to teach pupils not only educationally but offer effective methods to develop the children socially and emotionally.
  • You will need to offer a high level of pastoral care and have the ability to recognise any safeguarding issues a child may be facing.
  • You will be playing a vital part in this developmental year of the pupils’ futures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with professional colleagues and parents and set a good example through presentation and personal and professional conduct.
